Female PE Teacher – Long-Term Cover (12 Weeks)

Middle School – Redditch

Start Date: March

Smile Education is recruiting on behalf of Bordesley MAT for a female Physical Education Teacher to provide long-term cover at one of their middle schools in Redditch.

This is a full teaching role starting in March, expected to last for 12 weeks, with full responsibilities including planning, teaching, and assessment.

The Role:

• Teaching PE across the relevant middle school age range
• Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Taking on full classroom responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment
• Working collaboratively within a supportive PE department and wider school team

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Subject specialism in Physical Education
• Ability to commit to a full-time, long-term placement
• Strong classroom management and a positive approach to teaching PE
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
