Job Title: PE Teacher

Location: York

Start Date: October 2025

Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed Term (Guaranteed Pay)

Pay: £130 to £251.71 per day

A Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) in York is looking for an enthusiastic Girls PE teacher. The role starts in October 2025 and will run until the Christmas break in the first instance, with a view to extending for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PE lessons to KS3 and KS4.
• Create engaging and inspiring lessons that motivate students to progress.
• Manage coursework preparation, building up to end-of-year qualifications.
• Work with a team of specialists and contribute to the school’s CPD programme.
• Organise and plan effectively to ensure progress for all students.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching PE to KS3 and KS4.
