Job description

Holt Engineering is currently working with an innovative PCB manufacturing company based in Fareham. Due to an ever-expanding order book, our client is looking for an experienced PCB Solderer.

As a solderer, your role will be to solder components onto PCB boards using through-hole and fine soldering techniques.

Duties for the PCB Solderer include:

• Following technical drawings and soldering to required standards
• Soldering to IPC standards
• Soldering small components onto PCBs
• Soldering with a microscope at times

To be a successful PCB Solderer, you must:

• Have PCB soldering experience
• Be able to understand technical drawings
• Solder to high standards using through-hole soldering techniques
• Possess IPC certificates (beneficial)
• Have good attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadlines

Working hours:

• Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with an early finish on Fridays at 12:30 PM
