People and Pay (PAP) is the HR and payroll division of People Advisory Services, delivering cutting-edge and premium payroll software and solutions to an exceptional range of clients. As the Payroll Team Leader, you will take responsibility for the operation and profitability of your team’s client portfolio and report directly to the Payroll Manager or Associate Director. You will offer an escalation point for technical and commercial issues encountered by your team and ensure the accurate and timely HR, Payroll and Pension Administration services for various clients in accordance with statutory regulations.

The ideal applicant will have strong practical understanding of payroll calculations, deadlines, and UK legislation and requirements, including workplace pensions, coupled with strong numerical abilities and proven experience in MS Office, in particular Excel. People supervision or management experience is desirable, complimented by knowledge of month-end and year-end returns and balancing.
