Qualifications

• Comfortable working independently and managing a regular payroll cycle.

• Experience working with unionised or multi‑site teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing payroll for around 1,000 employees.
• Running the end-to-end payroll process for all employees.
• Acting as the go‑to person for payroll queries.
• Maintaining accurate payroll records and reports.
• Liaising with HR and Finance teams.

Skills

Proven experience in a payroll management role

Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation

Good working knowledge of SAP payroll systems

Organised and detail-focused

Education

CIPP qualification or similar
