Job summary

A trusted not-for-profit organization in Greater London seeks an experienced Payroll Manager to lead a friendly team. Responsibilities include managing payroll for about 400 employees, ensuring compliance with legislation, and driving continuous improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong payroll management experience, knowledge of UK pensions, and leadership skills. The role offers hybrid work with 3 days in the office and 2 at home.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end payroll for c.400 employees.
  • Mentor and support two Payroll Officers.
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely BACS submissions.
  • Oversee pensions including LGPS and auto-enrolment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.

Skills

Strong end-to-end payroll management experience

🌟 The Role

A great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead a small, friendly team within a trusted, not-for-profit organisation that provides vital public sector services. You'll oversee weekly and monthly payrolls, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement across all payroll operations.

⚡ Key Responsibilities
