About our client

A global multi-asset private investment firm is looking to hire a Payroll Lead to join its London office. Well established within the industry, the firm invests across a diverse range of asset classes and strategies worldwide. Having recently closed a successful fund-raise, the business continues to perform strongly and is actively deploying capital into new and existing investments

What the job involves

As the Payroll Lead, you will be responsible for the management of payroll processes and activities globally, whilst actively driving transaction and automation to the function. Within the role, you will work closely with colleagues in both Finance and HR, along with being a key liaison for third-party vendors globally.

  • Manage payroll processes across the firm's global offices
  • Be responsible for key internal and external relationships
  • Ownership of month, quarter, and year-end processes for relevant entities
  • Support finance with analysis and reporting of compensation models
  • Work closely with HR and Finance colleagues to identify process improvements
  • Ensure reporting is tracked efficiently in each jurisdiction
Who we are looking for
  • Strong payroll and processes experience gained within the financial services sector
  • Previous experience working within private equity would be advantageous
  • Proven working knowledge of tax filings, policy, and employment regulations
  • Proven experience managing payroll across multiple jurisdictions
  • Strong systems knowledge. Net-suite would be preferred
  • Finance qualification
