Job description
WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Payroll Administrator you are responsible for general payroll administration. You will ensure all employees are paid in accordance to local laws and regulations and the established Company processing guidelines. In the UK&IE we process our payroll using SAP which is integrated to HR systems Success Factors and WorfForce1 our scheduling syste,. This role also includes but is not limited to:

  • Review all new hires into the payroll system to ensure accuracy, and process any necessary corrections
  • Calculation and processing of termination payments
  • Support maintenance of master data and employee files
  • Processing of employee payroll changes
  • Pro-rata calculations for starters, leavers and changes part way through the month
  • Processing of additional temporary and fixed earnings such as overtime, additions, bonus payments, etc.
  • Processing of salary changes (increases/decreases) and calculation of back pay (when applicable)
  • Responsible for calculating deductions, such as withheld tax, student loan, GAYE
  • Ensure that the employees’ statutory leave and pay is accurate and compliant · Check payroll run exceptions and make corrections where necessary
  • Process corrections and payments for BACS/Bank rejections, or AWACS notifications
  • Process CHAPS requests ensuring the process is followed by all before raising the request
  • Processing court orders
  • Processing pension contributions
  • Deal with payroll queries in an efficient way, ensuring a great customer experience
  • Verifying payroll hours from Time & Attendance system to ensure employees are being paid correctly
  • Ensuring accurate recording and processing of amended timesheets
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

In this role, you will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure the successful expansion of the business. The focus of this role is monthly payroll. You will work closely with Stores, Area teams, and the Support Office team, providing key insights and recommendations.
