Overview

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Sherburn in Elmet, supporting our customer Sainsbury's. As a Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for the accurate processing of employees' pay data into the HR systems, to enable accurate payroll processing and maintenance of accurate electronic people data.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all payroll data and ensuring reports are routinely and proactively checked, with any errors being resolved in a timely manner
  • Update employee payroll records to include P45s, new starter declarations, tax and NIC data
  • Respond to general queries from the staff regarding their pay
  • Provide support to any ad hock administration activities
Qualifications / Experience
  • Experience as a Payroll Administrator, with experience of a fast-paced payroll environment, with experience of T&A systems
  • An ability to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • A collaborative and friendly approach, supported by excellent communication skills
  • Flexible approach to work - to get involved in varied tasks across HR & Payroll

Role Details

This is a part time, permanent position, working Monday and Tuesday, 09:00 till 17:00. We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £27,000.00 per annum (pro rata) and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) pro rata.
