Armstrong Knight are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a dynamic and highly entrepreneurial business which has exciting growth plans both Nationally and internationally.

Duties of the role will include:

Payroll Management
  • Processing fortnightly and monthly payroll using Sage payroll
  • Filing statutory payroll returns
  • Dealing with payroll related matters and statutory compliances
  • Processing company stores weekly sales
  • Ensuring timely Invoices & Credit notes are raised to all customers
  • Calculation of franchise fees
  • Issuing Monthly Statements to customers
  • Preparation of Aged Debt report
  • Updating and maintaining customer records
Cash Book and Nominal Entries
  • Posting & Allocation of receipts and payments
  • Daily Bank reconciliation's of all company Bank accounts
  • Posting of revenue Accruals and deferrals
Other Duties to include
  • Investigating and resolving queries from Franchisee’s regarding Royalty & Marketing Fees
  • Assisting with Payroll Processing
  • Assisting Internal Audit & Compliance Team
  • Undertake any reasonable task on the request of the Accounts Team
Skills & System knowledge
  • Microsoft Office packages (especially Excel)
  • Sage Payroll Experience Essential
  • Knowledge of Foreign Currency conversions & Postings
  • AAT studier with ambition to continue studies, minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Team player & ability to communication with all levels
