Patient Porter – Fixed Term Contract

Location: North Bristol

Hours: Full Time, Monday‑Friday with occasional weekends

We're supporting a well established healthcare provider in North Bristol who are looking for a Patient Porter to join their team on a fixed-term basis.

Responsibilities

• Safely escort patients between reception and the theatre building (mainly for cataract surgery).
• Assist patients with mobility (wheelchairs, walking aids).
• Provide reassurance and emotional support, especially for anxious or visually impaired patients.
• Communicate clearly and maintain patient confidentiality and dignity.
• Help theatre team with moving clinical waste, medical stores, and other items.
• Liaise with staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
