  • Full-time – 15 hours (increasing to 23 hours) (Tues, Thurs 8am-1pm and Friday 2pm – 7pm)
  • Temporary Contract

Join the team at a FE College as a Patisserie Chef Lecturer! This role is based in an Ofsted rated GOOD college that is known for its positive and bustling atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and delivering high-quality educational programmes in Patisserie.
  • Providing support and guidance to students and addressing challenges (there are opportunities to become an Assessor too).
  • Integrating industry experience into teaching to offer practical insights.
  • Promoting College values and adhering to safeguarding policies.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development opportunities.
Requirements (Skills / Qualifications / Experience)
  • Must have experience across a range of paste products, breads, petit fours, biscuits, cakes and sponges, hot and cold desserts to a high industry standard as well as food safety.
  • Valuable experience in teaching or relevant industry expertise.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for education.
  • Commitment to promoting student welfare and fostering inclusivity
The Centre

The college has centres in Kings Cross, Camden, Finsbury Park, Victoria, Soho and Regents Park. It is one of the largest post-16 college groups in London. The college boasts a dedicated and experienced management and staff team and its excellent training and development programmes. The Centre operates mainly during term-time only and is easily accessible via public transport.

The post is open to applications from both experienced learning support assistants/support workers and those with a positive and caring attitude looking to pursue a career supporting young people.
