We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused Chef to join our team, working with our corporate client based in Royston. You'll play a key role in delivering a high standard of food service to staff and guests, ensuring all operations meet the required specifications for safety, quality, and service.

What you’ll do:
  • Provide a high-quality catering and hospitality service, ensuring prompt and courteous service at all times
  • Support the Sous and Head Chef in food preparation and presentation across all meal services
  • Maintain excellent food safety, allergen, and hygiene standards
  • Oversee kitchen cleanliness and security, ensuring all equipment and workspaces are clean and safe
  • Support with stock ordering and assist with budget control where required
  • Work flexibly to meet changing business needs, including special functions
  • Assist in staff training and participate in regular performance development reviews
What you’ll bring:
  • Proven experience as a Chef in a high volume setting
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety and COSHH regulations
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently when needed
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and support others
