Pastoral Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Tutor to provide outstanding pastoral support for learners, helping to improve attendance, retention, achievement, and progression. This role is key in delivering high‑quality tutorial sessions, supporting learner wellbeing, and ensuring every student has the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver group tutorials and 1:1 sessions, setting and reviewing SMART targets to support student progress.
  • Work with teaching staff, parents, and support teams to engage at‑risk learners and improve outcomes.
  • Support students with progression, UCAS applications, enrichment activities, and work placements.
About You
  • A Level 3 Award in Education and Training (PTLLS) or willingness to work towards it.
  • Safeguarding and mental health training to support young people.
  • Strong IT, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with learners and colleagues.
  • A proven track record of supporting young people in their development and progression.
