Job description

The Parts Sales & Warehouse Associate safely manages the warehouse including general organization and cleanliness, maintaining parts inventory levels, and shipping and receiving duties for all UPS and Common Carrier LTL shipments of products, equipment, and parts. Other responsibilities include parts deliveries to local customers, answering Parts Sales Department calls and customer walk-ins. Handles shipments to customers and ensures parts are provided to customers or contractors accurately and timely.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

• Handles all common carrier outgoing & receiving freight using electric forklift experience to safely do warehouse duties including stocking parts and picking and packing parts.
• Print packing slip and ship & complete daily invoicing for parts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, neat, and orderly appearance in the warehouse including disposing of trash into dumpsters.
• Oversee inventory parts management. Perform actual physical inventory twice a year.
• Assist Parts Sales’ customer walk-in with parts pickups.
• Answer calls for Parts and obtains part number and price and provide this information as a quote to the customer.
• Research parts needed for both customers and internal service department using manufacturer’s provided research engines. Provide quotes from company ERP system to customers and service department.
• Confirm that the parts provided to the customer or contractor are accurate and on time as requested.
• Prepare purchase orders for any part needed that is not presently in stock as requested. Enter orders via manufacturer and company computer systems.
• Receipt invoices & purchase orders into accounting system.
• Handle HVAC Service Department parts orders. Back up other offices as needed for service parts requests.
• Replace parts under warranty as needed.
• Weekly follow-up on overdue warranty returns from customers.
• Back-up for Parts Sales Coordinators in all offices as needed.
• Monthly Inspection of office fire extinguishers, and AED Machine.
• Follow safety standards including hazard communication to include safety data sheets, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ladder safety, electrical safety, portable fire extinguishers, and manual lifting/handling.
• Safely drive the 24 ft. company box truck for Parts Sales deliveries.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY

• High school diploma required; Some college preferred
• A few years of recent related Parts Inventory and Parts Sales experience
• Recent pallet jack experience and/or forklift knowledge
• Small warehouse experience
• Can regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds safely
• One year of daily computer experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent recent and relevant customer service experience
• Experience using UPS Global Shipping or similar
• Experience with inventory control and palletizing parts to be shipped
• Valid DOT Medical Card, or willingness to obtain one to safely and legally operate company delivery truck.
• Proven safety record with following safety standards including hazard communication to include safety data sheets, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ladder safety, electrical safety, portable fire extinguishers, and manual lifting/handling

Salary range is based on experience and starts at $24.50 - $27.88/hr.
