A healthcare provider in Chesterfield is seeking an experienced Recovery Practitioner to join their multidisciplinary Theatre Team. The role offers 28.5 hours per week, focusing on patient advocacy and ensuring high-quality treatment. Candidates must be a part-1 registered NMC Nurse or HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner with recovery experience and current UK registration. This position does not include routine evening shifts but may involve on-call and weekend work.

We are looking for an experienced Recovery Practitioner to join our team of friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary Theatre Team supported by our experienced Theatre Manager. You will work 28.5 hours per week.
Our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings. Privacy and confidentiality are key throughout the team, and you will act as an advocate for the patient in the intra-operative phase and be responsible for total patient care in the peri-operative phase. The position has no routine scheduled evenings beyond 17.30, but includes an on-call commitment and weekend theatre work.
We seek a part-1 registered NMC Nurse or HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner with previous recovery experience. You will need to be up-to-date with current research and developments in theatre practice, have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating department, and be responsible for ensuring the continual cleanliness of the theatre and equipment.
