Professional Nanny Orpington BR6 Two Days per Week

Happy Nest Nanny and Maternity Agency are looking to assist this wonderful family in finding an experienced and nurturing nanny for their bright and joyful little girl, aged 20 months.

Location : Orpington, BR6

Start Date : September 2025

Days & Hours : Monday & Wednesday, 7 : 00am 6 : 30pm

Salary : £18 to £20 gross per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

This is a beautiful opportunity to join a loving and professional family in the Orpington area. Their little girl is 20 months old and loves music, dancing, baby ballet, Monkey Music, storytime, playing with her dolls house, engaging in pretend play, and socialising with others at the park and soft play.

The ideal nanny will be confident and engaging, with a calm, nurturing manner and a passion for early years development. The role will involve creating a fun and stimulating environment, attending local classes and groups, and supporting the child's developmental milestones through play, conversation, and creative activities.

Duties Will Include
  • Creating a safe and stimulating day-to-day routine
  • Organising and taking the child to activities and classes such as Monkey Music and Baby Ballet
  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks
  • Child-related housekeeping including laundry and ironing
  • Engaging the child in age-appropriate learning and development
  • Supporting and encouraging social and emotional growth
Candidate Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification
  • Five checkable references from previous roles
  • A full UK driving licence and own car
  • A good command of English and excellent communication skills
  • Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their early years journey
