Overview

Home Instead is currently seeking a MALE Support Worker in Burton Latimer. You will be required to provide support to help the client remain as independent as possible in their own home and out in the community.

Responsibilities
  • Helping with everyday activities. The client enjoys getting out and about throughout the day.
  • Assisting with life skills such as cooking and domestic duties.
  • Providing support in the community and helping to access activities the client enjoys.
  • Ensuring the client is safe within their home and the wider community.
  • Being someone they can rely on and a good companion.
  • The client enjoys being outdoors and gardening, so a love of the outdoors would be an advantage.
Ideal Candidate
  • Required: Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Willing to operate the client’s vehicle.

Qualifications

To have experience of challenging behaviour is preferred and a willingness to learn how to manage the client’s needs is a must. However, no specific care experience is required as we offer full training on orientation.

Schedule
  • Monday: 17:30 – 22:00
  • Thursday: 17:00 – 22:00
  • Friday: 08:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00
  • Sunday: 16:00 – 22:00
