This lovely family based in South East London, is seeking a Part-time Housekeeper-Cook to maintain a clean and organised home while preparing meals for the family. The role includes all general housekeeping duties, with occasional deep cleaning as needed. The ideal candidate will have a confident cooking background and be capable of managing day-to-day household tasks. The family has one dog, so candidates must be comfortable around pets.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday, 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Duties

• Dealing with grocery shopping and maintaining receipts.
• Placing orders for kitchen and utility supplies, including lamps for house lighting.
• Keeping kitchen pots, pans, and work surfaces clean and in good condition.
• Ensuring the refrigerator is clean and discarding out-of-date items.
• Tidying and cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas.
• Organising window cleaning services.
• Washing and ironing laundry, including hand washing delicate items (some laundry and dry cleaning handled by collection services).
• Answering the door.
• Keeping patios, pathways, and steps clean and tidy.
• Watering household plants.
• Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Clearing away, tidying, and cleaning the kitchen and dining areas.
• Presenting menus for approval and discussing dietary requirements with the client.
