Qualifications

  • Be a Prescriber or working towards being one within 2 years of start date.
  • Demonstrates accountability for delivering professional expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist pharmaceutical support within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Perform repeat prescription management and structured medication reviews.
  • Maintain and update complete patient care records.
  • Manage repeat prescription requests and resolve queries.

Skills

Professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Good IT skills
Collaborative working
Knowledge of pharmacy law and ethics
Experience with GP prescribing systems

Education

Qualified from approved training pathway (e.g., CPPE, MOCH, PCN)
Evidence of Continued Professional Development
