Children’s Part-Time Advanced Practitioner
Team: Non-Case Holding Quality Assurance
Location: Barnsley
Rate: £37

This is a part-time role. In Barnsley, we are committed to delivering the highest quality services to children and their families and our Practice Development Hub is key in supporting the workforce to achieve this. Working closely with our Quality Assurance Team, we are looking for an experienced social work professional to join our Hub to develop and deliver targeted programmes of individual, team and service learning and development. This is a non case holding role.

Candidate profile

We seek a unique and passionate individual for this exciting opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A qualification and relevant significant experience in social work
  • A passion for learning and proved track record of developing and delivering training
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
Qualifications and requirements

  • • DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
  • • Social Work England registration
  • • Enhanced and in date DBS certificate
  • • Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available
  • • Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups
  • • Possess knowledge of service needs
  • • Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems
  • • Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files
  • • Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
