Our team is responsible for the product management in Europe of a suite of owned and operated global products developed by Samsung for use on our range of TVs, smartphones and tablets. We work very closely with our business development and ads colleagues, and the three teams together comprise ESBO, the European Services Business Office. Our main products include Gaming Hub, the innovative cloud gaming native to Samsung Smart TVs, TV Plus that offers a wide variety of TV channels and video on demand, and Samsung News, a mobile-first news aggregation app pre-installed on all new Samsung devices. The ambitions for Samsung News are bold; the product is already in market in the UK and North America, with exciting growth plans throughout 2026 and beyond.
Your key responsibilities
We are seeking a part-time Associate Editor, with a strong journalism background, to join our global news team within our Mobile eXperience (MX) division. Based in London, you will deliver a world-class curation service for UK, US and Canadian users making decisions minute-by-minute to verify developing news stories, issue breaking news alerts, compile deep-dives and create impactful morning and evening briefings.
As an AssociateEditor, you will pitch daily content ideas, monitor trending news stories and work to editorial guidelines and standards asset by the Editor-in-Chief. Your work will inform millions of users, and drive impact for one of the largest brands in the world.
