Responsibilities
  • Be the face of Ascot Lloyd, actively promoting AL services, products and living our values in every conversation.
  • Achieve revenue targets and fuel Ascot Lloyd’s growth through both client retention and new business, always putting clients first.
  • Deliver holistic financial advice that helps clients realise their goals and secure their futures.
  • Build lasting partnerships through regular reviews, adapting solutions to meet clients’ evolving needs.
  • Expand your influence by forging strategic alliances with professional connections and opening doors to new opportunities and relationships.
  • Champion a culture of referrals, turning every client interaction into a chance to grow your network.
  • Identify fresh opportunities and respond to the ever‑changing business environment to drive client relationships.
Qualifications
  • Diploma qualified in financial planning (ideally chartered, or working towards Chartered status).
  • Committed to continuous professional development, keeping CPD logs and training up to date.
  • Proven experience in financial planning – independent, restricted or corporate – demonstrating delivery of outstanding advice.
  • Capacity for new client development and willingness to self‑develop as a key part of supporting AL’s impressive growth.
  • Flexibility and a growth mindset to support AL during high growth nationwide.
  • Exceptional integrity and interpersonal communication skills both internally and externally.
  • Track record of achieving challenging new client development goals in a regulated environment, with the drive to win and nurture recurring revenue.
  • Confidence with back‑office systems and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Satisfactory Fit & Proper status, confirmed through Ascot Lloyd’s annual assessment.
Interview Process
  • Three‑stage interviews: (1) Values & competency interview, (2) Technical interview / case study, (3) Final interview.
  • Opportunity to ask any pressing questions to the Regional Leads and HR points of contact directly during interviews.
Location & Type

Location: Bristol and surrounding areas – hybrid working & part time. Adviser type: restricted, independent or corporate. Reports to: Regional Adviser Lead. SMCR Function: Certified Position.
