Job description
Responsibilities
  • Identify student goals and design an appropriate program to address goals.
  • Conduct assessments in reading, mathematics, and language in accordance with the appropriate assessment systems to ascertain the academic strengths and weaknesses of participants.
  • Develop individualized plans of study for each participant in the program.
  • Plan and deliver effective and comprehensive adult education instruction based on the appropriate curriculum guides and the needs of the population to be served.
  • Plan, develop, and implement lessons that require the usage of higher-order thinking skills by the population served.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress for the purpose of determining and implementing modifications to the student’s original individualized program of study.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Business Education, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree; understand adult education systems within the Technical College System of Georgia.
