Part-time Activities Coordinator. Longridge Hall Care Home
Hourly rate: £13.27 per hour
Contract: 27.5 hours per week
Shift pattern: 5 days per week including alternate Saturday working
Are you bursting with creativity and passion for bringing joy to others? Longridge Hall Care Home is looking for a dynamic Activities Coordinator to create engaging, fun, and meaningful experiences for our residents.
At Longridge Hall, we create a comfortable and supportive environment for our residents. With features like a reminiscence lounge, a chapel, and an indoor sensory garden, we ensure that every night feels safe and homely. Our experienced Care Home Manager, Tracey, has been leading our team for over 10 years, ensuring a positive and caring atmosphere for both residents and staff.
Your Role – Make Every Day Special
As an Activities Coordinator, you'll be the creative heart of our home, crafting an exciting and varied daily activity programme tailored to our residents’ interests. Whether it’s music, film screenings, arts and crafts, fitness sessions, gardening, games, quizzes, pamper days, or trips out, you will bring energy, enthusiasm, and imagination to every event.

Applicants will be diligent, creative, organised and committed to enhancing the quality of life of residents by providing activities which will interest, inspire, motivate and support them in their daily lives.
Compassion, patience and positivity are just some of the key values and personal qualities required for this post, whilst a flexible approach to work is essential. Experience of working with an elderly client group and/or working within a care home environment would also be highly advantageous, as would the ability to cover outings or special events outside of normal working hours as required.
