Job summary

A well-established organisation in South East Norwich is seeking an experienced Part Qualified Management Accountant to join its accounts team. This role involves producing management accounts, posting journals, and preparing VAT returns. The ideal candidate will be ACCA or CIMA part qualified and have strong communication skills. Competitive salary between £38,000 and £45,000 is offered.

Qualifications

  • Ideally ACCA / CIMA part qualified.
  • Prior experience in multi-currency ledgers.
  • Experience in management accounts and related processes.

Responsibilities

  • Production of Management Accounts.
  • Posting monthly journals including accruals and prepayments.
  • Completing quarterly recharge invoices and reducing intercompany transactions.
  • Management of fixed asset register.
  • Preparation of VAT returns and payroll reconciliations.

Part Qualified Management Accountant - South East Norwich

Up to £38,000 - £45,000

Role

Keeler Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their management accounts team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled accounts professional looking to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities
  • Production of Management Accounts (full P&L and Balance Sheet).
  • Posting of monthly journals including accruals and prepayments.
  • Month end process of intercompany reconciliations.
  • Completing quarterly recharge invoices, actively driving reduction in intercompany transactions.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Management of fixed asset register.
  • Suggest improvements in control processes.
  • Preparation of VAT returns and payroll reconciliations.
  • Cash management, bank reconciliations and approval of purchase ledger and other ad-hoc payments.
  • Assistance with the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
  • Ad hoc reporting and projects as required.
Requirements
  • Ideally ACCA / CIMA Part Qualified.
  • Experience as detailed above in management accounts and related processes.
  • Prior experience on multi-currency ledgers.
  • Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, able to multitask and work to deadlines.
