Working hours: 38 full-time hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Typical attendance: Tuesday - Friday 07:24 - 17:30 and Saturday 07:24 - 15:00.

Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Gatwick, James Watt Way Camino Park Crawley RH10 9ZX

Starting salary: £24,210 (£12.21 per hour) increasing to £25,679 (£12.95 per hour) on completion of 6 month probation. Plus, an additional supplement of £842 per annum pro rota, night shift allowance and excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week). You could earn a total package of circa £30,000 per annum, including excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week with overtime).

The role

Parcelforce Worldwide is looking for a Collection and Delivery Driver to join our team. You will start your day by planning your delivery route and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle. You’ll collect and deliver parcels to households and businesses, going the extra mile for customers and delivering items from birthday presents to vital business information. About you

  • Naturally friendly, positive and proactive with a view to a long-term career in an ambitious and growing company
  • Excellent team player with ability to build good relationships and achieve best results for customers
  • Able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30 kg
  • Full UK manual driving licence (Cat B) covering up to 3.5 tonnes; ideally a clean licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Licence must be shown at your assessment
