Job summary

A well-known courier service provider in Crewe CW1 seeks physically fit individuals for various roles including goods in, scanning, labelling, sorting, and loading trailers. Applicants should have basic English skills and be able to work in a busy environment, sorting between 2000 and 3000 parcels per shift. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, with starting pay at £12.21/hour for days and £12.51 for nights.

Role

Responsibilities will depend on the section you are working in, as listed below.

• Goods In
• Scanning
• Labelling
• Sorting
• Loading and unloading trailers

Person Specification

• You will need to be physically fit to be able to lift parcels throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in a busy paced environment sorting between 2000 and 3000 parcels per shift.
• Basic English skills required to include reading/writing/communicating.
• Good attention to detail.
• Flexible to work as and when required including weekends.

Please note, we can not predict start times or finish times, as shifts start times and finish times depend on parcel volume for the day (workload), therefore you need to be flexible with shift start and end timings.

Working hours

(Please note these are approximate start times)

Nights usually range from 8pm-12am start and last from 6-8 hrs (or more) depending on workload.

Inbound Shift ranges from 3pm-6pm start and lasts from 4-8 hrs (or more) depending on workload.

Day shift ranges from 9am-2pm start and lasts 6-8 hrs (or more) depending on workload.

Full time and part time shifts available.

Pay

Starting at 12.21ph / Nights 12.51
