Qualifications

  • Chartered status (or working towards it) would be a plus.

Role Overview

The firm is looking for a qualified paraplanner who enjoys working closely with advisers to develop detailed financial strategies. This role is suited to someone who is comfortable engaging with clients when required, confident in handling a range of financial planning areas, and keen to be part of a quality‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing suitability reports across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning
  • Conducting technical product and provider research
  • Supporting advisers with meeting preparation and follow‑up
  • Analysing clients’ current financial situations and recommending appropriate planning strategies
  • Ensuring all reports and plans are compliant with FCA regulations
  • Liaising with product providers and internal teams to support the advice process
Requirements
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential)
  • Experience in a paraplanning role within an IFA or wealth management firm
  • Knowledge of pensions, investments, and broader financial planning principles
  • Excellent written communication and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using financial planning tools and CRM systems (e.g. Voyant, Intelligent Office, FE Analytics) is an advantage
  • Chartered status (or working towards it) would be a plus but is not essential
