A leading healthcare provider in Leyland is seeking a qualified Paramedic to join their Unscheduled care team at HMP Garth. The role entails providing patient-centered care in a secure environment and requires relevant qualifications and post-registration experience. We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Unscheduled care team at HMP Garth. HMP Garth has a capacity of around 800 males and is a Category B prison located in Lancashire. The Paramedic will be based within the Healthcare Department, with required duties on the prison wings. Responsibilities include handling emergency radio communications and conducting consultations.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday). Two-week shift pattern. Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday 07:30–19:45. Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 07:30–19:45. There is a Sunday service element in the schedule. Salary: up to £42,094 – £47,466 per annum depending on experience. This position is permanent.
Experience in hospital, community, or prison environments is desirable but not essential.
