Paralegal Hub Lead

A prestigious Legal 500 law firm are currently looking for a highly skilled Paralegal Hub Lead to join their Construction, Real Estate, and Disputes (CRED) Division in their Guildford office. This role offers a unique opportunity with flexible working options, available on both a full-time and part-time basis.

The Role

In this role, the Paralegal Hub Lead will manage the centralised Paralegal Hub , which will consist of a team of approximately 11 paralegals. The individual will ensure that the team delivers exceptional support across the firm's CRED divisions, working closely with fee earners to understand and respond to their needs. This role involves designing and implementing efficient processes that align with the demands of the team and contribute to the success of the firm's operations.

Key responsibilities include
  • Leading and managing a team of 11 paralegals supporting Construction Engineering and Projects, Real Estate, and Real Estate Disputes.
  • Collaborating with fee earners to provide cost-effective and efficient paralegal support.
  • Identifying the training requirements for the team and supporting their professional growth.
  • Reporting on the performance and service delivery of the Hub, working with the CRS management team to track financial results and operational success.
  • Ensuring the team adheres to SRA Standards and Regulations and all relevant legal obligations.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' PQE , ideally with experience in Real Estate . The successful candidate will have a strong background in team leadership , with proven experience in mentoring and developing others.

The candidate should demonstrate a commercial mindset , proactive approach to driving improvements , and strong time management abilities. A collaborative and flexible attitude, a commitment to exceeding expectations, and a focus on developing both the team and the service offerings will be key to success in this role.
