Join Our Team

You will serve as our Paralegal and be a key member of our Legal, Regulatory and Compliance team. Under the supervision of the Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing day‑to‑day support for our legal function. You will join us at an exciting time as we are growing and investing in our infrastructure to support our business growth. You will report to our Legal Counsel.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial contracts, NDAs, and supplier agreements.
  • Performing due diligence on contracts and business agreements.
  • Assisting with the insurance policy review processes, including Lloyd’s binder documentation.
  • Assisting with corporate governance tasks including board minutes, resolutions, and statutory filings.
  • Maintain legal documentation and assisting with document preservation notices and audit preparation.
  • Researching, summarising and preparing responses to enquiries from internal stakeholders for the Legal team’s prompt response.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders (underwriting, claims, finance, HR) to ensure legal risks are identified and mitigated.
  • Monitoring developments in insurance law, government and regulatory guidelines or regulations for best practice.
  • Collating data and management information and creating reports for Head of Legal & Compliance and Legal Counsel.
  • Assisting with major projects and coordinating actions.
  • Building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting with the development of internal policies and procedures.
  • Support regulatory obligations, including Consumer Duty, GDPR, Bribery Act, and Modern Slavery Act obligations.
  • Support the legal team in managing external counsel relationships, tracking legal spend and coordinating legal projects.
  • Maintaining the Contracts Database, and Legal Department precedents / precedents bank and undertaking general administrative duties.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Head of Legal & Compliance and/or Legal Counsel from time to time.
