Qualifications

Panel Wirer - Full time

A long-established UK automation and robotics manufacturer is expanding due to continued growth and are looking for a Panel Wirer to join the team.

Job Role – Panel Wirer
  • Wiring of control panels, electrical cabinets and automated machinery.
  • Carry out machine wiring adjustments, updates and rectification work.
  • Assist with commissioning once equipment is powered and being tested.
  • Work with in-house engineers to resolve build or design issues.
  • Occasionally support installations and service work at customer sites (UK & overseas).
  • Ensure all wiring is neat, accurate and completed to agreed schedules.
Key Responsibilities of the appointed Panel Wirer
  • Work to electrical standards and safe working practices.
  • Support machine testing, setup and customer acceptance stages.
  • Maintain accurate build documentation and record any issues.
  • Present the business professionally when on customer sites.
The ideal Panel Wirer will have
  • Completed engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications.
  • Experience wiring machinery, automation systems or control panels.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and carry out fault-finding.
