Job description

We have an amazing opportunity for a Painting & Decorating Tutor to work for one of the country's leading training providers. This will involve assessing the learning and skills needs of disengaged learners with a view to improving their employability skills.

Full training can be provided if you would like to become a Tutor and have occupational experience.

Location: Leicester

Candidates must have the following skills, experience, and qualifications to be considered:

• The ability to teach your trade as a Painter & Decorator trades personnel
• Minimum 5 years of trade experience (Painting & Decorating)
• A full teaching qualification at Level 4-5 or above or equivalent ( e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, DTTLS) or willingness to work towards
• Experience working with hard-to-reach learners.
• Experience dealing with challenging situations.
• Experienced in offering Advice & Guidance.
• A mentor and role model to others.
