Overview

Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Paint Technician for our client based in Wolverhampton. The paint technician will be working on commercial vehicles, must have experience of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Paint repairs to a range of commercial vehicles.
• Work with customers to ensure completed work is in accordance with their requirements.
• Accurately measuring the work area to calculate the time and materials required to complete jobs.
• Adhering to Health and Safety at work and workshop cleanliness.
• Preparing vehicles for spraying.
• Maintain spray booth environments with regular audits.
• Keeping up to date with product knowledge.
• Completion of job cards and other administrative work.
• Support workshops team members including Apprentice Technicians as required.
• Accurately record time to complete jobs and associated details.
• Ad-hoc duties as required.

Paint Technician Details

Location: Wolverhampton

Salary: £15 - £18 per hour

Schedule: Hours - Monday to Friday

Requirements

• Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in accident & repair & paint principles is desirable.
• Experience working in this role or similar role.
• Excellent customer service mindset.
• Great communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly and effectively.
• Must be hardworking and self-motivated and a productive team member.
• Ability to tackle all aspects of painting.
