LOCATION: Liverpool City Centre (Office Based)

SALARY: £26,000-£30,000 per annum

We’re looking for a driven and analytical Paid Media Executive to join our fast-growing digital marketing agency in Liverpool. This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of 1 year experience in PPC and 1–2 years of agency experience.

You’ll work across Search, Shopping, and Paid Social campaigns, analysing performance data, and supporting client growth across multiple industries. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress, while working closely with our design, web, and client services teams.

Key Responsibilities
Paid Search & Shopping
  • Build, manage, and optimise paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
  • Set up and optimise Google Shopping campaigns and maintain a healthy Google Merchant Center.
  • Monitor CPCs, search terms, impression share, quality scores, product feed health, and Shopping diagnostics.
  • Analyse campaign performance daily and implement data‑led optimisation strategies.
Paid Social & Multi‑Channel Delivery
  • Support and run campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other emerging channels.
  • Develop and test new audience strategies, creative formats, and channel‑specific tactics.
  • Collaborate with design teams to brief and refine ad creative and messaging.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Produce clear weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Track and measure performance using Google Analytics 4, platform dashboards, and 3rd‑party reporting tools.
  • Maintain accurate budgets, pacing, CPAs, ROAS, click‑through rates, and conversion metrics.
Tracking & Technical Setup
  • Support the implementation of tracking pixels and conversion APIs (Meta Pixel/CAPI, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag).
  • Assist with basic GA4/Tag Manager tracking checks to ensure correct conversion data flows into ad platforms.
Client & Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Paid Media Manager & Client Services Director to deliver high‑quality monthly reporting and strategic recommendations.
  • Review competitor activity to identify opportunities, trends, and new testing strategies.
  • Share insights with the wider team to continuously refine paid media output.
Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours
  • Solid understanding of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Google Merchant Center.
  • Analytical mindset with strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience running or assisting with Paid Social campaigns across Meta / TikTok / LinkedIn.
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to explain data and performance clearly.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage workloads effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive team player who takes ownership and is always looking for ways to improve performance.
  • Good understanding of digital marketing principles, attribution, and user behaviour.
Training & Qualifications
  • 1‑2 years of hands‑on digital marketing experience in Paid Media, Paid Search, or a similar role.
  • Experience managing campaigns across Meta, Google Ads and Bing Ads is essential.
  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and other digital measurement tools.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets experience is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple client campaigns with varying goals and budgets.
