Paediatric Diabetes Patient Pathway Coordinator B4

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Diabetic Patient pathway co-ordinator with excellent interpersonal skills and a calm and methodical approach to provide a full range of administrative assistance to the Specialist Consultants and Nurses within the Paediatric Diabetes department.

The role will include a full range of administrative duties to support consultants and their team. We are looking for someone that can manage their own workload, demonstrate efficient organisation skills and who can work collaboratively within the team.

To support the Consultants and nurses with a range of responsibilities within the Paediatric Diabetes department to provide a safe, efficient and caring patient pathway.

To provide a full range of administrative assistance to specialist Consultants and Nurses within the Paediatric Diabetes department. The patient pathway coordinator will be required to manage their own workload, demonstrate efficient organisation and oversee the smooth effective coordination of the office. To work collaboratively within the team to deliver a service, that meets Trust standards and outstanding patient care.

Qualifications
  • Good general standard of education to GCSE level or equivalent including English
  • RSA II or equivalent in word processing/audio typing RSA III, Medical secretarial qualification (BSMS Certificate) or equivalent
Skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of NHS priorities and understanding of the guidelines and targets in own area of work (*)

  • To have an understanding or be willing to learn the departments patient pathway
