Overview

Are you a dynamic and detail‑oriented professional looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact? We are seeking a Personal Assistant to support our Principal at Rainham and Hackney Sixth Form Campuses. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys being at the heart of strategic initiatives. You will also be required to attend campus each day and travel to different New City College campuses when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Diary Management: Organizing and maintaining the Principal's schedule, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Communication: Handling correspondence, emails, and phone calls, and acting as a liaison between the Principal and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Administrative Support: Preparing reports, presentations, and documents, and managing confidential information with discretion.
  • Event Coordination: Assisting in the planning and execution of college events and initiatives.
  • Project Management: Supporting various projects and initiatives led by the Principal; planning and progressing programmes of work to strict deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in computer skills and expert use of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to work flexibly adapt quickly to changing operational needs; occasional late working.
