Personal Assistant needed - 20 hours per week in Chesterfield

We are looking for a friendly, confident and understanding Personal Assistant to support a young gentleman with autism, Asperger's, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. The role aims to increase his confidence, help him get out into the community, and assist with household tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Support day‑to‑day tasks and routines.
  • Promote independence and build confidence, especially in personal care.
  • Ensure medication is taken correctly.
  • Plan and prepare meals.
  • Assist with general household tasks.
  • Help with public transport use and community activities.
  • Support participation in social clubs, the gym, swimming, gaming, and other hobbies.
  • Interact with two dogs in the home.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Outgoing, confident and understanding.
  • Experience or willingness to work with individuals with autism, Asperger's, ADHD, anxiety and depression.
  • Required: Medicine training (Diabetes).
