Job description

This role will ideally suit a person who is happy to work in a smaller business where they get involved in all aspects of the general day to day running. ideally you will have come from a service based environment where the emphasis is on giving excellent customer service and support, from initial contact to completion of the project.

Ideally hours will be 9-5 or 8-4 however there may be some flexibility for the right person.

Office Administrator / Team Support

Well-established company based in Holmwood, near Dorking, Surrey, serving a growing base of private and commercial clients across the South East. We’re a close-knit, hands‑on team operating from a busy office, and we’re looking for a proactive and organised individual to support our office operations.

About the Role

This is a varied and busy position supporting day‑to‑day business activities. You’ll be part of the team keeping operations running smoothly managing schedules, coordinating communications, and assisting both clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support : Assisting Director and Managers with daily tasks and coordination.
  • Client Liaison : Handle calls, emails, and follow‑ups professionally and courteously.
  • Scheduling : Manage diaries, site visits, and team calendars.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate records and internal communications.
  • Office Management : Process invoices, orders, and supplier communications.
  • General Support : Keep the office organised, receive deliveries, and assist where needed.
Person we are looking for
  • Experience in administration, reception, or PA roles—ideally in a service‑based business.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Tech‑savvy with solid IT skills and adaptability to new systems.
  • Must be able to commute daily to our North Holmwood.
