A leading tutoring organization in the UK is seeking a passionate and experienced Tutor to support students aged 4-25 with educational needs. You will deliver personalized tuition sessions in Maths and English, fostering a supportive environment to help students achieve their qualifications. Flexible hours are available, with competitive pay rates up to £25 per hour. Ideal candidates will have experience working with young people and a caring nature.
1st Staff are one of the UK’s leading specialist providers working nationwide to support students aged 4–25 with educational and therapeutic needs. As a tutor you will deliver tuition sessions to help these students gain confidence and achieve the required qualifications, potentially enabling progression to further education. 1st Staff provides a support network for tutors, including a lead tutor for your area, Designated Safeguarding Leads, curriculum leads for Maths and English, a behavioural specialist, and a Head of Education.
The role involves delivering Maths and English sessions on a 1:1 basis to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs referred by local authorities and schools. The ideal candidate will have a caring and friendly nature to build rapport with the student.
This is not a self-employed tutoring/teaching position; you will work through a zero-hour contract and be paid via PAYE. No expenses coverage is offered.
