A recruitment agency is seeking Outreach Tutors to provide 1:1 education for SEND pupils in Chelmsford. The role involves building positive relationships, preparing lesson plans, and submitting weekly progress reports. Successful applicants will need strong English and Maths skills, along with a full enhanced DBS. This is an ongoing, term-time position with a focus on making a positive impact on children's lives.
We are looking to provide 1:1 education to SEMH, ASC, Complex Needs and excluded pupils in schools, in the community or in their homes.
Our pupils range from early years foundation to post 16 with or without an EHC plan that have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including, but not limited to; SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Difficulties, Autism (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
JDS are looking to recruit Outreach Tutors to work in Essex.
The aim of this service is to assist in re-integrating the pupil back into a specialist or mainstream educational provision.
The sessions may be delivered at various venues i.e. in the pupil's home, in community centres and/or local library.
These roles are ongoing, term-time only positions.
