A leading NHS foundation trust in Great Yarmouth is seeking an organized and proactive individual to join the booking team. This vital role entails managing patient referrals and bookings efficiently while ensuring that clinical information is accurately recorded. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration and excellent digital literacy, with experience in patient management systems being essential. The position supports timely dermatology care according to national standards and requires close collaboration with Clinical staff.
We are looking for an organised, efficient, and proactive individual to join the existing booking team. Working closely with Speciality Consultants, external outsourced providers and Primary Care Referrers, the post holder will ensure that patient referrals and bookings are managed efficiently, clinical information of accurately recorded and shared, service targets are met.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration, excellent digital literacy and experience with patient management systems. This is a vital role in supporting the delivery of timely and effective dermatology care to patients in accordance with the National 18 week Referral to Treatment (RTT) Standards, DMO1 Diagnostic Standards and the 28 day Faster Diagnosis Standard.
To provide an RTT management & booking service, working in partnership and liaising with Operational Managers, Business Support Managers, Secretaries, Clinicians and other outpatient colleagues to keep outpatient clinics utilised to optimum levels.
To provide a professional and efficient service to patients and service users.
To be responsible for booking, monitoring, organising and rescheduling outpatient appointments in accordance with RTT rules, escalating any capacity pressures or concerns to the Management Team.
