Job summary

An independent educational institution in London is seeking a well-qualified Organ teacher to join their team. Job description

Applications are invited for a well‑qualified and inspirational Organ teacher (self‑employed visiting Music Teacher) to start Spring Term 2026 at Ibstock Place School, an independent co‑educational day school in south‑west London. There is currently 3 hours work a week, with the opportunity for more teaching depending on demand, as well as the possibility for more work accompanying our choirs or pupils in exams. The successful candidate will have:

  • a proven record of excellence in preparing pupils for examinations (Trinity/ABRSM)
  • experience of running ensembles
  • the ability to accompany pupils in lessons would be an advantage
