Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an Order Processor to join their friendly office team in Scarborough. This temporary position offers the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. The role involves processing customer orders, handling inquiries, and providing support. Some of the Order Processor duties include:
  • Speaking with existing customers and providing support when needed
  • Creating quotations and interpreting customer enquiries within agreed time‑scales
  • Processing customer orders accurately from enquiry through to completion
  • Contacting customers to clarify or amend orders and providing technical advice after training
  • Checking orders against original requests and progressing the to the next stage
  • Taking calls for the processing team and transferring to the correct department

We are looking for someone with previous office admin experience who is confident speaking with customers on the phone. You will enjoy working in an open‑plan office and be comfortable handling a mix of order processing and customer communication. We also want someone who is motivated, driven, and looking to build a long‑term career with clear opportunities for progression.

This will be working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, earning a salary of £12.60 per hour.
