📍 Location: Wolverhampton (WV1) – Office-based

💰 Salary: £55,000 – £60,000

🚨 We’re recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operational delivery across multiple community‑facing healthcare divisions, including Complex Care, Learning Disabilities & Autism, Domiciliary Care, NHS Staffing, Clinical Insourcing, and the mobilisation of a new Supported Living division.

This is a high‑impact leadership role at the heart of a rapidly growing healthcare organisation – ideal for a strong operational leader who can ensure safe, compliant, and efficient service delivery while driving growth and service development across the Midlands and beyond.

  • Operations Manager with experience in healthcare or social care
  • A leader confident managing multi‑disciplinary teams and multiple service streams
  • Strong knowledge of governance, safeguarding, risk management, and CQC standards
  • Relationship‑builder skilled in working with commissioners, ICBs, MDTs, and external partners
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused operator who thrives in a scaling organisation
Responsibilities
  • Lead operational delivery across Complex Care, LD&A, Domiciliary Care, NHS Staffing, Supported Living, and Insourcing/Outsourcing
  • Work closely with Clinical Leads, Governance, Quality, and Compliance teams to ensure safe and effective service delivery
  • Provide line management and oversight for Team Leaders, Managers, Coordinators, and field‑based teams
  • Oversee referrals, assessments, service mobilisation, capacity planning, and package coordination
  • Monitor KPIs including staffing levels, stability, quality, audit outcomes, and compliance indicators
  • Support incident management, safeguarding processes, investigations, and service improvements
  • Build relationships with commissioners, ICB leads, CHC teams, NHS Trusts, social workers, and MDT professionals
  • Lead the operational rollout and mobilisation of the Supported Living division
  • Analyse operational performance and support strategic planning and tender submissions
  • Ensure all services remain prepared for CQC inspections, local authority audits, and contract reviews
  • Support recruitment strategy, workforce planning, and retention initiatives
