Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Use of forklift to empty process metal skips and manage deliveries.
  • Conduct routine maintenance of mobile plant and report defects.
  • Assist with on-site traffic management and site housekeeping.

What you'll be doing;

  • Use of forklift to empty process metal skips and unload vehicle deliveries of process consumables
  • Carry out routine & basic maintenance of mobile plant, including oil and water checks etc, reporting defects found
  • Assist with on-site traffic management and site housekeeping
  • Operate overhead travelling refuse cranes
  • Operate weighbridge & plant maintenance computer systems
  • Support operations and maintenance colleagues as required routine tasks on day shift
  • Compliance with company environmental, health and safety procedures and statutory requirements
  • Carry out other reasonable tasks and duties as requested by management

What we're looking for;

  • Current mobile plant and fork truck driving qualifications
  • Ability to operate, or train to operate, a variety of mobile equipment and fixed plant
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Familiarity with health & safety procedures
  • Able to communicate effectively orally & in writing
  • Available and willing to work overtime (paid) when workload demands
