Job description

We are looking for a Operations Director to lead and scale our UK operations as we transform into a £100m+ revenue, high-volume, automated space manufacturing business.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will oversee Facilities, IT, Cybersecurity, Procurement, Health & Safety, and Security across multiple UK sites. Your leadership will ensure our operational backbone is ready to support the delivery of complex space programmes at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence and scalable processes to support rapid growth.
• Lead multi-site facilities, labs, cleanrooms, and test environments.
• Oversee procurement, supply chain, and stores management.
• Manage IT infrastructure, tools, and cybersecurity strategies.
• Ensure HSE compliance and foster a culture of safety.
• Build, lead, and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams.

Experience

• Proven senior leadership in operations for £50m+ high-tech, production-driven organisations.
• Experience scaling complex manufacturing environments.
• Strong expertise in IT systems, cybersecurity, and facilities management.

• Willingness to travel regularly between UK sites and occasionally overseas.
