Online Development Officer (Mental Health & Sport)

THE EMPLOYER IS: TACKLING AWARENESS OF MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES (TAMHI)TAMHI started life as a mental health awareness charity in 2011.Formed by Joe Donnelly and Stephen McLaughlin, the charity was formed in memory of Thomas 'Tammy Tucker' McLaughlin, who took his own life in 2009.TAMHI is a mental health charity based in Northern Ireland that works with sports clubs and groups who use sport to raise awareness of mental health and resilience. TAMHI works with sports clubs, schools, and youth groups to make mental health fun and engaging. We are based in North Belfast but will support any group we can with resources.This role focuses on creating, improving, and delivering digital mental health resources for sports clubs and schools. The Online Development Officer will research best practices, design user-friendly materials, share them with partner clubs, collect feedback, and produce reports that help improve impact. The successful candidate will support the growth of positive mental health cultures by leveraging technology, creativity, and evidence-based approaches.You will be working in a supportive environment that will encourage creativity and thinking outside the box.

Responsibilities
  • Research evidence-based mental health frameworks, including TAMHI tools, best practice in sport-based wellbeing, and digital engagement.
  • Design online learning resources, toolkits, videos, and interactive materials for clubs and schools.
  • Liaise with clubs, schools, and community stakeholders to share resources and gather feedback.
  • Pilot new tools with partner organisations and record feedback on effectiveness and usability.
  • Analyse collected feedback to identify improvements and refine digital content.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure online resources align with organisational strategy and safeguarding standards.
  • Produce quarterly progress reports on resource engagement, user experience, and measurable outcomes.
  • Contribute to innovation sessions to develop fresh ideas for digital delivery and wider programme reach.
  • Support monitoring and evaluation systems to track what works and where improvements are needed.
  • Organise small online sessions, webinars, and training demonstrations as required.
