A home care service provider is seeking a female care assistant for a client in Hamsterly Mill. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, personal care, and meal preparation. The role offers £14 per hour, rising to £15 after six months, with flexible shifts available. A valid UK driving license and experience in care are required. This position promotes independence and requires a compassionate individual.
One to one female personal assistant required for a lady with an Acquired Head Injury, in her own home in Hamsterly Mill (near Rowlands Gill). She is 46 years old, loves watching movies, doing craft and spending time with her family and her dogs.
Brain injury experience is preferred, but not essential however experience in care is required.
Car drivers are essential.
Staff will be employed by the client. Not self-employed. Multiple staff required to cover all available hours.
Day and Night shifts available. 9.45 – 6pm varying Monday to Sunday, to be filled and also night shifts. The night shifts start at 5.45pm till 10am the following morning. However, there is a period of sleep from midnight to 8am, whilst the client sleeps. Staff need to be on hand to assist the client through the night when needed.
Salary £14 per hour. Raised to £15 per hour after 6 Month probation. Time and a half for bank holidays. Sleepover rate (midnight- 8am) is a set rate of £80
The main role of the position is to provide assistance, support and encouragement to the client, with the aim of promoting as much independence as possible.

Full job description will be given at interview. On the job training will be given specific to the client.
